A 50-year-old man died after falling from the roof of his house in Bara district.
The deceased has been identified as Sobhalal Chaudhary, a resident of Juguwa Tole in Kolhabi Municipality-3.
According to the District Police Office, Bara, the incident occurred on Wednesday night when Chaudhary reportedly fell from the roof of his single-story concrete house while attempting to urinate. He sustained serious injuries to his head and face in the fall.
He was immediately taken to Tamagadhi Hospital in Kolhabi for initial treatment and was later referred to LS Neuro Hospital in Parwanipur for advanced medical care. However, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment on Thursday morning.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Min Bahadur Ghale, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Bara, said that the body has been kept at LS Neuro Hospital for further procedures.
A police team led by Senior Sub-Inspector Kalam Narayan Yadav from the Area Police Office, Kolhabi, was deployed to the scene after receiving information about the incident. Police said further investigation into the matter is underway.
