India have lost the three-match One Day International (ODI) series against Australia. India have lost two of the three games.
India lost the second ODI by 51 runs yesterday. India had lost the first ODI by 66 runs. Now the third ODI will be on Wednesday.
Batting first in yesterday’s match, Australia lost four wickets for a huge total of 389 runs. Steven Smith scored 104 runs.
Batting in reply, India managed to score only 338 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 50 overs. Virat Kohli top-scored with 89 runs. Pat Cummins was the top wicket taker for Australia with three wickets.
This is India’s second consecutive series defeat on foreign soil. Earlier, they had lost the ODI series 3-0 on a tour of New Zealand in February.
