Two persons arrested in Bara with illegal drug opium.
Among the arrested are Durga Bahadur Moktan and Ravi Bahadur Sinjali Magar of Jitpur Simara Sub-Metropolitan 16.
Police had arrested them from the crossroads of Kolhabi Municipality-6 Prasuna Bazaar on the basis of special information received at the Drug Control Bureau Branch Office, Birgunj.
A team led by Deputy Inspector Tul Prasad Pudasaini from the Drug Control Bureau Branch Office, Birgunj and a joint police team from the Area Police Office, Kolhabi found 2 kg and 700 grams of opium hidden in the unmarked pulsar motorcycle.
Deputy Superintendent Gautam Mishra said that further investigation is underway with the permission of Bara District Court for six days.
