Chinese Defense Minister Arrives Kathmandu

Wei Fengho, Member of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China and Minister of Defense, has arrived in Kathmandu.

He arrived in Kathmandu at 10:35 am with a 20-member delegation. During the visit, he is scheduled to have a courtesy meeting with the President and the Prime Minister and a meeting with Chief of Army Staff Purnachandra Thapa, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He is scheduled to visit the Chinese Embassy in Balutar directly from the airport and meet Chief of Army Staff Purnachandra Thapa at 2 pm.

He will soon reach the PM’s residence in Baluwatar to meet Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. After Baluwatar, he will go to Shital Niwas to meet President Vidyadevi Bhandari. After that, he will return home this evening, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
