The stock market has set a record. On the first trading day of the week, a new record has been set so far in both the Nepse index and the buying and selling amount.
The market, which closed at 1,893.24 points last Thursday, has increased by 75.02 points and closed at 1,968.27 points today.
The Sensitive Index, which measures the trading activity of Class A companies, also rose by 18.76 points to close at 383.93 points.
Investors have been increasing their investments in the recent past as the stock market has become a conducive environment for investment.
Among the groups that came into business, trade, hotels, non-life insurance and manufacturing and processing groups declined.
