Trauma center and communicable disease hospitals will be constructed at two places in Bara. A trauma center will be constructed in Pathalaiya and a communicable disease and epidemic control hospital will be constructed in Kalaiya. Chief Minister of Province 2 Lal Babu Raut on Friday inspected the land for the construction of a communicable disease and epidemic control hospital and trauma center.
A team including Chief Minister Raut has inspected the land for both the hospitals as the federal government will also support the two schemes included in the policy and program of the state government.
While inspecting the land, Chief Minister Raut said that the construction work of both the hospitals would start soon after the federal government would extend its support to the state government in its policy and program.
According to the Ministry of Social Development, the two governments will run a contagious disease hospital in Jhitkaiya, Bara and a trauma hospital in Pathalaiya as part of the federal government’s plan to lay the foundation stone of hospitals across the country and at every local level.
Chief Minister Raut said that both the hospitals would be a project of pride of the state and it would benefit not only the residents of the region but also the state.
Land inspection has been completed in accordance with the policy of constructing a trauma center at the Provincial Health Training Center at Jitpur Simara Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 1 Pathalaiya. Similarly, a 50-bed communicable disease and epidemic control hospital is being prepared in Kalaiya Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 16 Jhitkaiya.
