Ten gamblers have been arrested while gambling in Bara district.
Police have arrested 10 people on the basis of a special information that gamblers were gambling at the Simara Paradise Hotel in Jitpur Simara Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 2 of the district.
A police team from District Police Office, Bara has cordoned off the Simara Paradise Hotel and recovered gambling mats, powder, Kuada and Rs. 5 lakh 82 thousand 550 in cash from the hotel compound.
The District Police Office, Bara has registered a case against the 10 gamblers and further investigation is underway, said Gautam Mishra, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Bara.
